The reason we go to the lengths we do in procuring this very high grade of collagen is that it is best of class. Please be aware that the normal grades of collagen are treated with an acid base. The collagen we purchase is enzymatically broken down 4 - 8 times which lowers the molecular weight causing it to be a molecular peptide which produces more nutrients such as electrolytes and minerals thus enhancing signaling. The unique benefit of having very low molecular weight/peptide is that this collagen does not require digestive enzymes from our stomach, pancreas and small intestine to breakdown proteins and amino acids.
